“Madonna of the Streets” or “Mother & Child”, is taken from a painting completed in 1897 by Robberto Ferruzzi. Here the mother holds her child, while looking hopefully to the heavens; he sleeps peacefully in her arms. We pray that our loved ones, too, will sleep in the arms of the Virgin Mary.
