We dread the loss of our loved ones, and yet Jesus knows our desolation. As He prays in the Garden, “Father, everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.” Like Jesus, we can release our earthly concerns to the Father, for it is through his son that we find the consolation of eternal life.
